An oldie but a goodie: The Case of the 500-Mile Email:

On average, our instance's local timeline is nice and has a cool overview over our local accounts and activities. Sometimes though, single users post a *lot* in a short amount of time (bots, too). Imo many of those posts should be followers-only, since they'll still reach the people they're meant for, without spamming the local timeline.

Not sure how local timelines have developed on other instances, but I'd be interested to hear about yours! #boost

Even when they fight, Quokkas are just adorable!

Quokkas come from Rottnest Island, off the coast of West Australia. They have been roundly accepted as the happiest animal on the planet due to being excessively #cute, although that's probably more anthropomorphism
on our part than the actual state of the quokkas.

They are small marsupials (keep their young in a pouch) and feed on a diet of various grasses and flowering plants.
